With talents honed from South Africa, “4THEMUSIC” has livened up otherwise dull weeknights and really spiced up weekends in Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain since 2006.
The band consist of 3 members namely Jabu, Peter-John and Elton
Having been around the block for a while now, “4THEMUSIC” has undoubtedly earned a decent fan base in Dubai and the Middle East with their innate musical versatility and remarkable stage presence.
hey were also part of important events such as the 2007 Russian Golf Open Tournament in Moscow, and the prestigious Dubai World Cup Horse Racing in 2008 as well as the HSBC Golf Championship.



Variety is what makes “4TheMusic” a hit

They performed at Taste of Dubai and Taste of AbuDhabi respectively for the past 10 years consecutively, where they opened for BoneyM, The Wailers, Bjorn Again and Billy Ocean, Tony Hadley (Spandue Ballet), Sister Sledge, BoyzLife and UB40 to mention a few. Most recently they opened the stage for Lionel Richie at the Dubai Jazz Festival 2020.
In 2016 they ventured into composing their own music with the release of their debut single “MZANSI”, A powerful song that addresses issues in South Africa. The song was so well received in the US that it won an Akademia Award for “BEST SONG” in the “World” category in Los Angeles. South African band winning an award internationally!
Their latest single is called “SENDILE” available on all social and musical platforms.
In 2020, during a period of lockdown and social distancing 4TM released their much-anticipated debut album entitled “Level One”
Variety is what makes “4TheMusic” a hit among their fans and new ones that learn about them. “4TheMusic” has been nurturing a repertoire consisting of 7 languages, from music styles of artists like Anita Baker, Etta, Randy Crawford, Alicia Keys, Usher, Tracy Chapman, Michael Jackson, Usher, Madonna, Bob Marley, Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Barry White, Aretha Franklin, Bryan Adams, Journey, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Whitney, Rihanna, Amy Winehouse and more as well as some South African songs.
